“Our favorite place we visited and had lunch in Key West was at Sugar Apple Organic Cafe & Market. We enjoyed the Smokey Tempeh sandwich and side salad with a zingy miso ginger dressing. The banana, pineapple, & spinach smoothie topped it off🍌🍍🌱 This is a must stop for all vegans when in Key West!” ~ The Healthy Tourist on Instagram

The Cafe is one of our favorite vegetarian foodie finds in Key West. It’s also the only place in Key West that you can find Homemade Vegan Key Lime Pie.
It’s not just a favorite of ours but if you check out TripAdvisor and Yelp, it looks like The Cafe is a favorite of just about everyone. Here’s what See K. from Willoughby, Ohio had to say via YELP, “What a gem. Fresh, healthy and delicious eats conveniently located near the excitement of Duval. The stir-fry was a delightful departure from the greasy meals I had treated myself to in the days prior to our visit. The sangria was perfect–just the right amount of sweet with fresh fruit on top. Waitress was lovely too; she was friendly and happy to give suggestions.”
The Cafe has a hip, cool chill out vibe where they serve globally inspired veggie & seafood eats, plus beer & wine. On the menu you will find made to order vegetarian, vegan and gluten- free options. The service – exceptional! They are open for lunch and dinner and Saturday and Sunday this is the place to go for brunch. View the menu.
