Day or night Key West is a hot spot for live music. It’s jam packed with local and world-class musicians taking stage at some of our favorite bars on the island. Here are four of the best bars to enjoy live music in Key West:
WHERE TO WATCH
400 Front Street, Key West, FL
Open 10am – 2am
Hog’s Breath Saloon is one of our favorite outdoor venues and watering holes where you’ll find good eats, drinks and great music. It’s another Key West Classic. Stand, sit, dance and enjoy the Hog’s Breath Saloon experience.
If you’ve been there once you’ll definitely come back for more and there is a reason this – they’ve been serving up great live music, food and atmosphere with locals and visitors for over 25 years.

201 Duval Street 3 bands on stage every day
Open 9am – 4am (Noon on Sunday)
Sloppy Joe’s needs no introduction as this bar has a ton of history. Located at the corner of Duval and Greene since 1937, this was Hemingway’s favorite watering hole in Key West. That brings in the crowds but so does the live entertainment with three great bands on stage every day starting at noon and ending at 2am. Many visitors will say, Sloppy Joe’s is “Still the Best Party in Town!” We agree! Check out the Sloppy Joe’s Entertainment Calendar to see who is playing when you’re in town.
News Update: Sloppy Joe’s Key West named one of the best Bars in the United States by Best of American Towns, a property of AmericanTowns Media! http://barbucketlist.org/.

It’s an authentic Key West experience. Plan on attending “Soundchecks” on Friday, Saturday and Sunday 5:30 to 7PM. It’s a full 90-minute set of great music.
