We had the opportunity to chat with Bryan to find out more about what he loves to do on his days off. One thing we found out is he has a love for fishing and getting out on the water.  If you are planning a Key West fishing adventure then Bryan is the one to get you caught up on everything you need to know about fishing in the Keys.  Bryan’s love for the Florida Keys and Key West does not stop there as he loves the island he calls home and can’t’ wait to share the best of Key West with you.

Q.   How long have you lived in Key West?
A. I have lived in Key West for 25 years now. I came down on vacation and stayed. I put in my two-week notice the 1st day I got here. I immediately knew I loved it here.

Q. How long have you been a Concierge at Southernmost Beach Resort?
A. I have been a concierge at Southernmost Beach Resort close to 5 years now.

Q. What’s your favorite thing to do on a day off?
A. My favorite thing to do on a day off is to be on the water. Fishing, snorkeling, sand bar etc.

Q. What’s the most common request you receive from guests?
A. The most common requests from guests are where to dine and what to do.

Q. What’s your go to place for a romantic dinner in Key West?
A. Romantic dinner recommendations would be Hot Tin Roof or Latitudes.

Q. Favorite place to get a bite to eat and drink in Key West?
A. Grabbing a drink and a bite to eat, Sunset Pier or stroll the harbor walk for waterfront dining at the Historic Seaport..

Q. What is the strangest request you have received from a guest?

A. The strangest request came from a French family that was touring South Florida and left their passports at a hotel but couldn’t remember which hotel and needed help locating which hotel       they left them.

Q.  What are the top three Key West activities or experiences you recommend to guests?
A. The top three island activities that I recommend to guests are: sunset sail, an eco-tour (Island Adventure) fishing adventure and the Key West museums. (Sorry that’s four)

Q. They say Key West is Close to Perfect, Far from Normal, what are some of the fun, funky and quirky places visitors should check out?
A. The fun places people should check out, Fort Zachary Taylor State Park and Beach, Sunset Celebration at Mallory Square, Key West Historic Seaport, Sunset Pier, a Bike Tour, Trolley etc.

Q. What is the best part of your job?
A. The best part of my job is meeting and helping our guests and all the people that I work with at the Southernmost Beach Resort and Key West Concierge.

Q. What is the best part of living in paradise?
A. The best part of living in the Florida Keys and Key West is the friendly people, laid back vibe, warm weather, small town feeling and our waters.
