The best of Key West in food, art and entertainment can be found just a couple of blocks from our resort on Duval Street. Here are a few of our favorites including a french cafe, a gallery of fine art and pottery and the best impersonators and entertainment on the island.
Visit Key West Pottery
Made in Key West! Key West Pottery is the Island’s only art house pottery offering a boutique selection of functional ware made by in house studio artists as well as fine art from owners Adam Russell and Kelly Lever.

It’s Key West’s premier gallery and studio of ceramic art and functional pottery. When you walk into Key West Pottery you’ll feel the creativity, energy and originality delivered by the dynamic duo of husband and wife team Adam and Kelly. The love and passion for what they do shows in their work. So many unique cool pieces of art are found here. It’s colorful, eclectic and it’s art for the everyday. Some of the pieces you can walk out with in a gift bag and others might be too big and will be shipped. The works of art can be as small as a mug or dish or as large as a sculpture for your yard. These two definitely bring a new energy to the Upper Duval experience and to the island.
We have enjoyed our first piece of pottery from this great shop for one year, so we went back for more. Found three pieces this time. The owners are truly gifted and love making beautiful pieces.~ retiredyoungat55 on Tripadvisor

Attend a Show at The Cabaret at La Te Da
Eyecons at La Te Da
Have you ever wanted to see Marilyn, Bette, Liza, Barbara, Judy and Lucille on stage? What about Tina Turner, Madonna or Lady Gaga? Great news, you can see them all by attending Eyecons at La Te Da!
Eyecons is a one man, many women show starring the talented female impersonator Christopher Peterson. Some of the women Peterson has played include Patsy Cline, Reba McEntire, Joan Rivers, Shirley MacLaine, Dr. Ruth, Katherine Hepburn, Julie Andrews and there are more. Peterson is constantly adding to the list and keeping it fresh, new and will introduce new characters to the show. Maybe you’ll see your favorite shining start when you attend the show.
This live no lip-sync show starts at 9pm and is not to be missed.
The Randy Roberts Show at La Te Da
You may have heard about Randy Roberts already as he was a contestant on America’s Got Talent or you may have seen him on Facebook Live as he chats with his audience while transforming into character. If you have not, good news is we are here to tell you a little bit about him and why you need to attend one of his shows.
Randy’s impersonations of Cher and Bette Midler are spot on and have kept him in the spotlight for over twenty years. Other impersonations and famous ladies includes: Mae West, Carol Channing, Phyllis Diller, a tribute to Gypsy Rose Lee and Consuela – The Latin Show Girl. Every show is closed with a mini-lounge act which allows him to get up close and personal with his audience. This is live show and not to be missed. Shows start at 9pm.
A TRULY ENTERTAINING EVENING The show at La Te Da is the best female impersonator show we have ever seen.. The room is full of visitors of all orientations and the show is incredible. The drinks are fairly priced, the service great and both Randy Roberts and Chris Peterson are total entertainers. The shows are full of jokes and live singing (no lip syncing here) that is worth the price of admission. Make reservations as the shows are often sold out. The best entertainment in Key West. ~ frequenttraveler051 on TripAdvisor
