A Look at Somo Activations: Experiences Grounded in Place and People

Somo Activations take place throughout the week and across the resort. Guests may find beach yoga, water aerobics, eco tours, floatie races, music bingo, poolside trivia, cocktail tastings and making sessions, live music, salsa dancing, conch shell blowing, and ghost stories unfolding at different times of day.

Throughout the week, guests often see Experience Director Amy Andrade leading Somo Activations while sharing pieces of Key West culture and history along the way.

As evening arrives, the energy shifts. Guests gather for music, dancing, trivia, or storytelling under the stars. On select dates, moonlit or mermaid-inspired gatherings take place.

The schedule changes depending on the day and time of year, but the approach stays the same. Guests are free to join in when it feels right or simply enjoy the atmosphere around them.
