Cheryl G. on Tripadvisor had this to say about Bagatelle’s Brunch Experience …

“Excellent Brunch! Came for brunch on a Monday. We were sitting on the upstairs balcony on a beautiful day. The food and service were excellent. As a good southern girl, I consider myself an expert on biscuits and gravy. Theirs is the best I’ve ever had.”

A Little Bit of History

Bagatelle is situated in a historic building built in the 1800s, converted into a restaurant in 1979. Believe it or not, Key West has a long tradition of moving wooden houses to newly open lots, and that’s what happened with Bagatelle. In 1974, this 2 ½ story residence was trucked down the middle of Duval street and set on new piers.

Enjoy a leisurely brunch experience sitting on the veranda, enjoying the tropical breeze and people-watching on Duval Street. It’s one of our favorite things to do!

Dishes We Love

While the mimosas are not considered a dish, they are in a league of their own and have the same attention to detail as some of the best craft cocktails. Plus, any of the eggs benedict specials and sweet dishes like the french toast and pancake selections are the bomb!

Alfonzo T. shared his experience at Sarabeth’s Key West on Yelp, and here’s what he had to say …

“One of the best brunch experiences. The custom mimosas have the same attention to detail as some of the best craft cocktails. Started with the sampler of lemon piccata pancakes, almond-crusted French toast and fluffy French toast. I had The Surf and Turf Benedict which was cooked to perfection, shrimp and cheese grits was also really good. This is a must in Key West.”

A Little Bit of History

Sarabeth’s originally opened in Manhattan and made its way to Key West in 2005. The building that is home to Sarabeth’s Key West is historically the first synagogue in Florida. The historic ceilings and windows add character to the restaurant.

Sarabeth’s Key West presents a delightful Key West brunch experience. One word to describe it – delish. Check it out next time you visit.
