First stop: the enchanting Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory! Your family will be amazed by the colorful butterflies, exotic birds, and two majestic flamingos fluttering around in this tropical haven. It’s no wonder this spot is a top attraction in Key West. Adult admission is $13.98, children ages 4-12 are $11.83, and children 3 and under are free.

Next, dive into the underwater world at the Key West Aquarium. Your little explorers will love getting hands-on with touch tanks, watching daily shark and turtle feedings, and learning about the incredible marine life that calls the Florida Keys home. Adult admission is $21.44, children ages 4-12 are $12.24, and children under 4 are free.

For Fort Zachary Taylor State Park, entrance fees are $6 per vehicle (up to 8 people), and $2.50 per pedestrian and bicyclist.

Looking for the perfect spot for your littlest ones? The Splash Pad at Truman Waterfront Park offers endless fun with fountains and a slide, all set against a gorgeous backdrop. A great place  to go with your family especially if you have kids under 10 years old. Entry is free, making it an ideal spot for a budget-friendly afternoon.

For an amazing bird’s-eye view of Key West, climb the 88 steps to the top of the Lighthouse. Take in the panoramic vistas and explore the Keeper’s Quarters Museum to learn about the life of a lighthouse keeper in Key West. General admission is $15.50, seniors age 62+, college students, and retired military pay $11.50 with valid ID, and youth ages 7-18 are $7.50. Children under 7 and active-duty military are free.

As the day comes to an end, gather at Mallory Square for the magical Sunset Celebration.
