  Pets and emotional support animals are not permitted at Southernmost Beach Resort.   Yes, the Guesthouses are an adults-only experience, making them ideal for a romantic or quiet retreat.

  Yes, the recently restored Guesthouse accommodations at La Mer & Dewey,  Avalon and Duval Gardens are designated as adults-only accommodations.

• Are there beaches within walking distance?

  Southernmost Beach Resort is located steps from the white sands of South Beach, America’s southernmost beach. Guests of Southernmost Beach Resort enjoy priority access to complimentary loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels, available at a first come, first serve basis.

  Yes, guests staying at the Guesthouses can enjoy all the main resort amenities, including the three main resort pools, beaches, and daily resort activities.

• Do you have a bar on-site?

  Along with the resort’s fully licensed Southernmost Beach Café, guests can enjoy beer, wine, cocktails, and light bites poolside at Pineapple Bar or beachside at Shores Bar. If you’re staying at Avalon Guesthouse, be sure to stop in for a drink at The Parlour, Southernmost Beach Resort’s newest and most quaint cocktail venue.

• Do you host weddings, meetings, or events?

• Do you offer airport shuttle or transportation services?

  While Southernmost Beach Resort does not offer a direct shuttle service from Key West International Airport (EYW), the Concierge team would be happy to assist with booking a taxi, rental, or car service upon request.

• Do you offer packages or special offers?

• Do you offer tours or activity packages?

  In partnership with Fury Water Adventures, we are pleased to offer guests a variety of classic Key West watersports including snorkeling, parasailing, jet skiing, sunset sails, sunset cruises, glass-bottom boat tours, dolphin watching, kayaking, paddle boarding, and much more.

• How can guests get from Duval Gardens to the Southernmost Beach Resort?

  The Southernmost Beach Resort and the Duval Gardens guesthouse are located just a short walk from each other on Duval Street. It is an easy and pleasant stroll to go between the two properties and access all of the resort’s facilities. Guests can also visit the front desk to schedule a pick up by golf cart to the main resort.

• How can I get to Key West?

  Key West is easily accessible by both air and car. Many major airlines offer direct flights to Key West International Airport (EYW) from cities like Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia, and various locations in New York and Florida. Alternatively, you can take a scenic road trip down the Overseas Highway (US-1), a four-hour drive from Miami.

• How can I make a special request (early check-in, late check-out, room preferences)?

• How can I modify or cancel my reservation?

  Reservations made directly through the Southernmost Beach Resort website may be modified or cancelled online, or via email at [email protected]. If you booked your reservation through a third-party service such as Expedia or Hotels.com, you will need to contact the third-party service in order to modify or cancel your booking.

• How close is the resort to Duval Street and Old Town Key West?

  Southernmost Beach Resort is located at the end of Duval Street, where historic Old Town Key West meets the Atlantic.

• Is breakfast included in the room rate?

  Bookings at La Mer & Dewey, Avalon and Duval Gardens Guesthouses include daily breakfast for up to two adults. Breakfast is not included in the room rate for the resort rooms and suites, but may be purchased at an additional cost or charged to the reservation to be settled at check-out time. Southernmost Beach Resort’s beachside restaurant, Southernmost Beach Café, opens for breakfast daily beginning at 8:00 am, along with all-day service.

• Is Duval Gardens closer to the main part of the city?

  Duval Gardens is located on the residential end of Duval Street, in the Old Town Key West. Duval Gardens is a short walk away from many shops, restaurants, and bars, offering a perfect blend of peaceful retreat and easy access to the action.

• Is Duval Gardens the same as the Avalon or other guesthouses?

  Duval Gardens and Avalon are both part of “The Guesthouses” collection at the Southernmost Beach Resort. While they are separate buildings with their own unique style, they both offer the same intimate, adults-only guesthouse experience, including a daily breakfast and access to the exclusive guesthouse pools.

  It is important to note that a separate, unrelated property named “Southernmost Point Guest House” is located nearby, which is a different business and not part of the Southernmost Beach Resort.

• Is parking available on-site, and is there a fee?

  On-site parking is available at a nightly cost of $50 plus tax. Please note that the resort’s on-site parking facilities can accommodate a maximum of one vehicle per guestroom reservation.

• Is room service available?

  Southernmost Beach Resort resort does not offer room service.

• Is Southernmost Beach Resort a beachfront resort?

• Is Southernmost Beach Resort an all-inclusive resort?

  No, Southernmost Beach Resort is not an all-inclusive resort. Guests are welcome to charge purchases, including dining, drinks, and spa services, to their reservation to be settled at check-out time. In addition, the resort offers a number of thoughtfully curated special offers, including nightly resort credits, to elevate your Key West experience.

• Is there free Wi-Fi throughout the property?

  Yes, Southernmost Beach Resort is pleased to offer complimentary high-speed wireless internet access throughout the property.

• What amenities are included with my stay?

  Along with three heated pools and priority beach access, guests of Southernmost Beach Resort enjoy a variety of top-notch amenities, including friendly, multilingual Guest Services staff, a dedicated Key West concierge team, 24-hour front desk, bell service, pre-check-in luggage storage, and local maps, guides, and event calendars. The resort also offers conference and meeting rooms available for booking, as well as on-site wedding and event coordinators.

• What amenities are unique to the Guesthouses?

  Guesthouse guests receive a complimentary daily breakfast. Avalon and Duval Gardens also offer access to exclusive, private pools in addition to the resort’s main pools.

• What are the top attractions near your resort?

  Southernmost Beach Resort is located within five minutes’ walking distance of many of Key West’s top attractions, including the Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory, Southernmost Point of the Continental United States, the Duval Street Pocket Park, and the 90 Miles to Cuba marker.

• What dining options are available at the resort?

  Breakfast, lunch, and dinner service is available at Southernmost Beach Café, our open-air beachfront restaurant open daily from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm. Additionally, guests can enjoy a selection of coffee, smoothies, juices, pastries, and snacks from The Coffee Shop, located adjacent to the Southernmost Beach Café and open from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm daily.

• What is the check-in and check-out time at your Key West resort?

  The Southernmost Beach Resort’s check-in time is from 4:00 pm onwards, and check-out is by 11:00 am. Accommodations for an early check-in or late check-out time may be made upon availability.

• What is the difference between Southernmost Beach Resort and the Guesthouses?

  Southernmost Beach Resort is a full-service, oceanfront property on Key West’s Atlantic coast, offering modern rooms, multiple pools, a private beach, oceanview dining, and on-site entertainment.

  The Guesthouses are intimate historic homes in Old Town Key West, steps from Duval Street. The Guesthouses provide a more intimate, “bed and breakfast” style getaway for adults only, while still granting access to the Resort’s amenities.

• What is the drive to Key West like?

  The drive to Key West from mainland Florida is a memorable journey along the Overseas Highway (US-1), a picturesque route that crosses 42 bridges and offers stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. The drive from Miami typically takes about four hours without stops.

• What is your cancellation policy?

  Most reservations may be cancelled without penalty up to five days prior to your arrival date, while advance purchase rates are non-refundable as of the time of booking.

• What payment methods do you accept?

  The Southernmost Beach Resort accepts payment from major credit cards, including American Express, Diners Club, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa.
